Dr. Tarun Kumar Suvvari, popularly known as Dr. STK, is a dynamic physician-researcher and a passionate innovator in global health. He is the Founder and Chairman of Squad Medicine and Research (SMR), a leading nonprofit research initiative based in India, working at the intersection of biomedical science, global health and policy making. With a vision to promote translational research, Dr. STK has led multiple high-impact research projects, with work presented at prestigious global platforms such as the Institut Pasteur (IBEID, Paris), ISCOMS (University of Groningen), and the ASM Global Symposium.

He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international and national journals, with a strong focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and infectious diseases. He was selected for full travel grants by leading institutions and has been awarded titles like Young Student Researcher of the Year and the Global Medical Student Leadership Award. Dr. STK is also the Founding President of Rangaraya Student Research Society (RSRS) and served as the National President of the Global Association of Indian Medical Students (GAIMS) from 2021–2022. He currently serves as the Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Global Journal of Medical Students (GJMS) and continues to contribute to global conversations in science as a speaker, panelist, and organizer of international academic events.

Beyond his scientific pursuits, Tarun is a creative soul — a trained dancer, keyboard played, and an avid traveler who believes in living life with joy and curiosity. His motto is "Enjoy Every Moment of Life".
